Funding
Funding for the planning work was provided by IG Holz Toggenburg, the municipality of Neckertal and the Toggenburg region. The realisation of the ambitious project is based on four cornerstones: the cooperative capital, public and private support, sponsoring, and donations.

The value-adding potential of the Treetop Walkway Neckertal is primarily derived from the entrance fees and how much the visitors spend each day. Overnight stays in the region as well as indirect value creation from the sale and consumption of regional products are also calculated. Visitor numbers, uniqueness of the project, development of the rural area and overall tourism development of the region are strongly interrelated. Cooperation with other partners in the tourism sector is strived for.
